Metallurgical engineer

Location:Chonburi,Rayong

Responsibilities:

1. PlanandmonitordailyoperationsrelatedtoEAF,Ladle,Tundish,andSlideGate.
2. Establishtrialplansandmethodsfornewmaterials/practices,andmaintainrecords.
3. Collectandanalyzedataontrials,incidents,refractoryperformance,andsteel-makingprocessesforreporting.
4. Superviseandguidetheteamonproperrefractory/mechanisminstallationpractices.
5. Coordinatewithcustomersforroutinetasks,newprojects,andproblem-solving.
6. Collaboratewithsalestomanagestockchecksandcalculatematerialconsumptionforinvoicing.
7. Preparetechnicalreportsandpresentationsonperformanceefficiency.
8. EnsureeffectiveinventorycontrolandprovideinformationforMRP.
9. Updateandmaintainladleplanstooptimizeperformance.
10. CreatedraftdrawingsfornewproductsduringtheRFQprocess.
11. LiaisewithHRregardingworkschedulesandteamwelfare.
12. Producedailyrefractoryreportsforcustomers.
13. ReviewandupdateworkinstructionsrelatedtoVesuviusproducts.
14. Setupandmonitormaintenanceplansforslidegatemechanismsatcustomersites.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
2. Knowledge of steel production and refractory works.
3. Proficient in English Chinese is a plus.
4. Experience in multi-site operations is preferred.
5. Prior supervisory experience is advantageous.
6. 1-3 years of experience in steel production, refractory works, or a related field.
7. Energetic with leadership qualities, strategic thinking, and self-motivation.
8. Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
9. Positive attitude and capability to coach others in refractory areas.
10. Address customer complaints effectively.
