About the Role
We are seeking a highly accomplished MLOps Architect to lead the design and evolution of enterprise-scale AI/ML platforms, modern data ecosystems, and cloud-native infrastructure. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for defining the architecture, governance, and operational excellence of the complete ML lifecycle—from data engineering and model development to deployment, monitoring, and continuous optimization.
You will lead a team of senior MLOps, ML, and Data Engineering professionals while partnering with business and technology leaders to build scalable, secure, and production-ready AI platforms.
This role is ideal for technology leaders who enjoy operating at the intersection of AI/ML, Data Engineering, Cloud Architecture, Platform Engineering, and Infrastructure Automation.
What You'll Own
AI/ML Platform & MLOps Architecture
- Define and drive the enterprise MLOps strategy, architecture, and roadmap.
- Architect end-to-end ML lifecycle solutions covering experimentation, training, deployment, monitoring, governance, and retraining.
- Build scalable and reusable ML platforms enabling faster and more reliable model delivery.
- Establish best practices for model versioning, observability, automation, security, and operational excellence.
Data & Analytics Architecture
- Design modern Lakehouse architectures using Databricks and cloud-native data platforms.
- Architect scalable data pipelines, feature stores, and data products supporting AI and analytics workloads.
- Drive platform performance, scalability, reliability, and cost optimization initiatives.
Cloud & Infrastructure Engineering
- Architect cloud-native solutions across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Lead Infrastructure-as-Code adoption using Terraform and cloud automation frameworks.
- Design secure, resilient, and highly available Kubernetes-based platforms for AI/ML workloads.
Technical Leadership
- Lead and mentor senior ML Engineers, MLOps Engineers, and Data Engineers.
- Establish engineering standards, architectural governance, and platform best practices.
- Partner with executive stakeholders, Data Science teams, and enterprise architects to deliver strategic AI initiatives.
What We're Looking For
Experience
- 12+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Architecture, Data Engineering, MLOps, or AI Infrastructure.
- Proven experience architecting and scaling enterprise AI/ML platforms in production environments.
- Demonstrated success leading high-performing engineering teams and driving large-scale transformation programs.
