Mobile Engineer GPS Integrity & Geospatial Systems

We are looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer with strong experience in:

GPS spoofing detection

Background location tracking

OS-level mobility permissions

Sensor data processing

Mapping SDK integration

This role is critical to CapturGO's core architecture.

You will work directly on the mobile tracking engine ensuring trip recording is accurate, secure, and resistant to manipulation while maintaining a seamless user experience.

If you've worked on ride-sharing apps, delivery platforms, fitness tracking, navigation systems, or anti-cheat detection systems, this role is for you.

Advanced background location tracking (iOS + Android)

Anti-spoofing detection systems (mock locations, jailbreak/root detection, emulator detection)

Sensor fusion (GPS + accelerometer + gyroscope validation)

Trip validation logic and movement heuristics

Integration with mapping SDKs (Mapbox / Google Maps)

Geofencing + spatial logic

Battery-efficient tracking systems

Edge-case handling for OS restrictions (iOS background modes, Android foreground services)

Mobile-side trust scoring logic

You'll collaborate closely with our backend and geospatial teams to ensure secure and reliable mobility intelligence.

3+ years of mobile engineering experience

Strong experience in iOS (Swift) and/or Android (Kotlin)

Deep understanding of background location services

Experience detecting GPS spoofing or mock location abuse

Familiarity with jailbreak/root detection

Experience working with mapping SDKs

Strong debugging skills across different devices and OS versions

Ability to build performance-optimized, battery-conscious systems

Experience building navigation or fitness tracking apps

Experience in anti-cheat or fraud detection systems

Understanding of sensor fusion techniques

Experience working with geospatial backends

Experience in Web3 / tokenized reward systems
