Job Summary:
The Modern Trade Manager is responsible for defining and executing the overall retail strategy in
alignment with company objectives. This role drives growth by optimizing store performance,
expanding retail networks, and leading business development initiatives to strengthen brand
presence and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement revenue and comprehensive retail strategies aligned with company
goals.
Plan the staffing levels to align with the sales plan of each branch.
Establish standards and monitor the performance evaluation of retail sales staff based on the
sales staff standards.
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer insights, and competitor positioning.
Translate strategic objectives into actionable business plans and KPIs for Retail and Dealer
teams. (B2S, Loft, Media mall, Powerbuy, HomePro, SB Design)
Identify, evaluate, and execute new business opportunities, including new markets, store
formats, partnerships, and digital expansion.
Build and manage strategic partnerships to enhance brand visibility and market reach.
Oversee retail network planning, including new store openings, relocations, and closures.
Evaluate and implement new retail formats and customer experience innovations.
Set and manage budgets for strategy and business development initiatives.
Monitor key business metrics, ROI, and P&L to identify risks and opportunities for agile
decision-making.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
Proven experience in retail management, business development, or strategic planning. (B2S,
Loft, Media mall, Powerbuy, HomePro, SB Design preferred)
Strong analytical skills with experience in P&L management.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
