What You'll Be Doing
- Create and develop engaging motion graphics, 2D animations, and visual effects for videos, apps, and social media.
- Conceptualize and storyboard video narratives, and design assets that align with brand guidelines.
- Edit videos, perform color correction, add music, dialogue, graphics, and effects, and synchronize audio for projects across various platforms, including social media, websites, and broadcast.
- Collaborate with the creative team to understand project vision and objectives, and contribute creative ideas.
- Review shooting scripts and raw materials to create a shot selection list based on scene value and continuity.
- Edit raw footage into final videos using industry-standard software.
- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth execution throughout the editing process.
- Consult with stakeholders throughout the production and post-production processes.
- Continuously explore and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency.
- Coordinate with internal departments and report to the Brand and Content Senior Officer.
Who We're Looking For
- A bachelor's degree in Film Studies, Computer Graphics, Media, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven work experience as a Video Editor, Motion Graphic Designer, Motion Video Editor, or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in editing raw video footage into polished final products using industry-standard software such as Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro.
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, including After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator, as well as 3D software such as Cinema 4D.
- Familiarity with special effects, 3D design, and compositing.
- Ability to bring fresh ideas and creative solutions to video editing projects, and willingness to experiment with new styles and techniques to enhance video content.
- Strong creative thinking and storytelling skills.
- Open to candidates from any industry; experience in the investment industry would be an advantage.
- Immediate availability would be an advantage.
