Job Description

Keep materials moving, production running, and supply chains honest — at the manufacturing heart of a globally recognised Australian design brand.

The King Difference

This is not just a planning role where you run reports and wait for problems to escalate.

This is a role where you own material availability end to end — from MRP outputs and purchase orders through to supplier follow-up, import coordination, and production continuity. You convert plans into action, you spot risks before they become disruptions, and you hold the supply chain to the standard that King Living's global operation demands.

Based at our King Furniture Thailand manufacturing facility in Rayong, you will sit at the intersection of production planning, sourcing, warehouse, and import/export — coordinating closely across every function to ensure materials arrive at the right time, in the right quantity, and at the right cost.

If you are a disciplined, detail-driven supply chain professional with strong MRP and purchasing experience — and you are ready for a role with real ownership and real impact — this is it.

What You Will Own

Material Requirements Planning Review production plans, forecasts, BOMs, and stock levels to calculate material requirements for direct and indirect materials. Run and validate MRP outputs, confirm demand/supply gaps, and convert approved requirements into accurate purchase requisitions and purchase orders.

Supplier & Purchase Order Management Place and follow up purchase orders with local and overseas suppliers — managing order confirmation, delivery schedules, MOQs, lead times, and price validity with discipline and precision.

Import/Export Coordination Coordinate with the ImEx team, freight forwarders, and overseas suppliers on shipping schedules, ETD/ETA tracking, import documentation, customs clearance, and delivery to site.

Supply Risk & Shortage Management Monitor material arrivals and shortage risks proactively — escalating supply constraints early and driving recovery actions to protect production continuity.

Inventory & Master Data Control Maintain and review MRP master data including lead times, safety stock, min/max levels, reorder points, and supplier planning parameters. Control inventory by monitoring slow-moving, surplus, and obsolete stock and recommending actions to reduce working capital.

Reporting & Team Leadership Prepare material planning reports and KPI dashboards covering shortages, on-time delivery, inventory coverage, and PO status. Supervise and develop MRP and planning team members to improve planning accuracy and cross-functional communication.

Who You Are

You are a supply chain professional who takes ownership of material availability — and the discipline to back it up every day.

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 5 years experience in MRP, material planning, purchasing, or supply chain — preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience issuing PRs and POs and coordinating with both local and overseas suppliers
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, BOMs, safety stock, lead times, MOQs, and inventory control
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI or other reporting tools preferred
  • Working knowledge of import/export coordination, shipping documentation, and customs clearance processes
  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to balance demand, supply, inventory, and production priorities simultaneously
  • High attention to detail and strong ownership of planning data and material availability
  • Professional proficiency in English — essential for communication with international suppliers and the broader King Living team
  • Supervisory experience or demonstrated ability to lead planning activities and coordinate cross-functional follow-up preferred

You will likely come from an MRP, procurement, or material planning role within a manufacturing environment — ideally with exposure to both local and international supplier management. What matters most is your planning discipline, your follow-through, and your ability to keep production moving.
