Overview

We are looking for a MuleSoft Integration Engineer to join our Order Entry Automation workstream as the hands-on builder responsible for developing and configuring the MuleSoft IDP solution. Working closely with the Integration Architect, you will bring the solution design to life across the full build — from IDP document action configuration through to Salesforce and SAP integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and configure the Salesforce IDP document action including AI extraction prompts and confidence threshold settings for Order Entry documents
  • Develop Mule process API flows in Anypoint Studio covering document ingestion, validation, and routing
  • Write DataWeave transformations to map extracted IDP JSON output to Salesforce Order object and SAP BAPI field structures
  • Configure the SAP connector including RFC and BAPI_PO_CREATE1 setup in the MuleSoft dev environment
  • Build the Salesforce integration layer to create Order objects and Order Lines from processed document data
  • Implement human-in-the-loop routing logic for documents falling below confidence thresholds
  • Develop error handling, logging, and retry logic across all flows
  • Support unit testing, integration testing, and UAT defect resolution across sprints
  • Participate in Sprint 1 discovery activities including environment setup and field mapping

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5–8 years of hands-on MuleSoft development experience
  • Proficiency in Anypoint Studio, DataWeave, and REST API development
  • Experience with Salesforce connector and basic Salesforce object configuration
  • Exposure to SAP integration via RFC or BAPI is a plus
  • Familiarity with agile/sprint delivery methodology
  • MuleSoft Developer certification preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with a structured approach to testing and documentation

Preferred Certifications

  • MuleSoft Certified Developer — Level 1
  • MuleSoft Certified Developer — Level 2
