Work Environment
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Naval Architect & Marine Engineer to join our engineering team and play a pivotal role in the design, engineering, and execution of Floating Photovoltaic (FPV) systems and marine/coastal infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will bridge traditional marine engineering principles with renewable energy technologies, ensuring structural integrity, hydrodynamic stability, mooring design, and long-term survivability of floating solar installations and associated offshore/coastal facilities. You will evolve in an international working environment and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams across the company to deliver projects at the highest quality and safety standards.
Missions
- Design and perform hydrodynamic, stability, and structural analyses for floating solar platforms and marine structures.
- Conduct motion response assessments and environmental load calculations considering wind, waves, currents, and water-level fluctuations.
- Design, evaluate, and optimize mooring and anchoring systems for large-scale floating PV arrays.
- Provide technical expertise for marine and coastal infrastructure including access walkways, docks, cable routing systems, shoreline protection works, and breakwaters.
- Assess site suitability through analysis of metocean data, wave climates, environmental conditions, and geotechnical constraints.
- Prepare and review technical reports, engineering calculations, technical specifications, bill of materials (BOM), and detailed engineering drawings.
- Develop general arrangement drawings, installation layouts, and other marine engineering documentation.
- Collaborate closely with electrical engineers, solar PV designers, project managers, and construction teams throughout project development, design, installation, and commissioning phases.
- Ensure compliance with applicable maritime, offshore, renewable energy, and engineering standards including DNV, ABS, ISO, and IEC requirements.
- Provide technical support during fabrication, installation, commissioning, and operational phases of floating solar and marine infrastructure projects.
