Job Description:

Network movement compliance , Pro-active monitoring of flight movements, activating contingency plans, responds promptly to network requests and timely updates of service incidents.

  • Provide accurate and analytic performance / incident report to enhance performance quality.
  • Provide a tracing service for the network and interface with local country customer service on service problems and enquiries.
  • Proactive and immediate response to all customers.
  • Communicate with service provider to get information on flight details.
  • Work with airlines to implement outbound and inbound service enhancements.
  • Handle operational communications with other Gateway and Hubs regarding inbound & outbound operations, adhering to standards and protocols for pre-alert, e-mails, GEMA and other communications with the DHL network.
  • Interface with local country customer service on service problems and enquiries.
  • Monitor and update the following:
    • Network Movement ULD control
    • Network Movement message control
    • ULD flagging data quality control
    • Confirm uplift of all outbound mo vements
    • Confirm arrival of all inbound movements
    • Confirm recovery of all inbound movements
    • Daily report service incidents
  • Update OURS with incidents on reasons of incident occur, transit time impact and corrective action taken to minimize transit time impact
  • Proactive monitoring of QCC systems
  • Provide instructions to Ops should there be request from origin or destination station on
  • Monitor accuracy of daily Recap, movement performance both air and shuttle/road reports
  • Perform the following:
    • Update of SCL for shipments that are intercepted
    • Identify and action exception handling according to exception handling procedures
    • Follow up on shipment issues inclusive of DG handling until resolution
    • Action on inbound alerts and provide information to the relevant parties.
    • Timely and accurate response to all requests from Network.
    • Create trace and follow up non-conforming shipment status until solutions
    • Monitor key account and project shipment
    • Incumbent has no direct reports and authority over country line and functional personnel.Nevertheless he/she must be able to demonstrate ability to influence decisions/actions throughprovision of value-added inputs into the organization's business processes.
Qualifications:
  • Prefer at least 1 year experience within airline, transportation or logistics industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Software skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Strong Communication skills (English), spoken and written
  • Willing to work under pressure and changes
  • Good analytical skills, problem solving and decision making
  • Very good interpersonal skills
  • Good convincing skills
  • Able to work in shift
  • Detail oriented and Enthusiastic
