Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a capable and collaborative .NET Core Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. This role emphasizes strong backend development with .NET Core/.NET Framework, effective frontend collaboration, and participation in an agile environment. The successful candidate will contribute to architecture decisions, deliver robust features, and support modern delivery practices to enable business growth and digital transformation.
Software Requirements
Required Skills (Essential)
- Proficiency in .NET Core and/or .NET Framework for enterprise application development
- Strong C# programming skills and object-oriented design principles
- Experience with web development using ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, or similar frameworks
- Design, build, and consume RESTful APIs
- Relational database expertise with SQL (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) including data modeling and query optimization
- Version control experience with Git (GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket)
- Experience with build and packaging tools (MSBuild, NuGet) and CI/CD practices
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and cross-functional teams
Preferred Skills
- Cloud platform experience (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and cloud-based deployments
- Frontend collaboration with modern JavaScript frameworks (React or Angular) and HTML/CSS
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Testing frameworks (xUnit/NUnit, MSTest) and automated UI testing tools
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, security practices, and infrastructure as code (IaC)
Overall Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain scalable .NET-based applications and APIs in alignment with business requirements
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code; participate in code reviews to uphold quality standards
- Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX teams, and backend developers to design integrated solutions
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and security across environments
- Contribute to architecture discussions and ensure alignment with enterprise standards
- Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment processes
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, including architecture, deployment procedures, and technical specifications
- Mentor junior developers and promote knowledge sharing and best practices

- Domain experience in finance or other regulated industries is a plus but not mandatory
- Alternative pathways: extensive project experience, relevant certifications, or notable contributions to large-scale .NET platforms
Day-to-Day Activities
- Develop and maintain back-end services in .NET and collaborate with frontend teams
- Gather requirements, plan iterations, and contribute to design discussions
- Write, review, and test code; perform unit, integration, and performance testing
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement robust fixes
- Participate in planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
- Contribute to architecture discussions and deployment/documentation efforts
- Mentor junior developers and facilitate knowledge sharing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 4–9 years of hands-on .NET development experience
- Certifications in .NET technologies or cloud platforms are advantageous
