TCS is hiring for .NET Development / Cloud (Azure/AWS)
Desired Experience Range: 6 to 10 Years
Job Location: Chennai
Required Technical Skill Set -Docker, Kubernetes, C#, .NET, Bicep or Terraform and Azure services
Key Responsibilities
- Participate across the full software development lifecycle, from design through to deployment and support.
- Work with business analysts, product owners, and architects to refine requirements and design solutions.
- Develop, deploy, and support changes that enable core lending business processes and integrations.
- Build, test, and deploy enhancements and integrations using C#, .NET, and Azure services.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, ensuring high-quality, automated delivery.
- Follow a you build it, you run it model, participating in on-call support rotations for business-critical systems if required.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and defects in production and test environments.
- Ensure solutions are built with security and compliance best practices embedded.
- Contribute to team collaboration, Agile ceremonies, and knowledge sharing.
- Document solutions to support maintainability and handover.
Core skills include:
- 6+ years proficiency in C# and Microsoft .NET technologies (.NET Core/.NET 6+)
- Azure competence: Microsoft AZ-204 (Azure Developer Associate) as a pre-screen and submit only candidates who have already passed the exam
- Hands-on experience with Azure services (Functions, App Services, Service Bus, Logic Apps, API Management)
- Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
- Strong relational database skills (SQL Server), including query writing and schema design
- Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with software testing practices (unit and integration tests)
- Awareness of and commitment to security best practices in software development • Ability to work effectively in Agile delivery teams
Other beneficial attributes include:
- Exposure to frontend development (JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks, React)
- Experience with event-driven development and messaging patterns
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Bicep or Terraform)
- Advanced SQL experience, including troubleshooting and performance tuning
- Background in financial services, lending, or mortgage products
- Exposure to Dynamics 365 development (APIs, services, plug-ins) would be an advantage
