Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Specialist to manage, design, and support our organization's critical network infrastructure. The ideal candidate must have profound expertise in OSPF routing and Firewall management (specifically Palo Alto via Panorama). You will be responsible for deep-dive troubleshooting, security policy design, project implementation, and maintaining the stability of our network environment both on-prem (Cisco, Aruba, Palo Alto) and on-cloud (AWS, Oracle, GCP)

Job Description (Responsibilities)

-Infrastructure Management: Manage and maintain network devices including Routers, Switches,Wireless and Firewalls to ensure high availability.

-Security & Routing: Design and audit security policies on Firewalls and manage the organization's Advanced Routing configurations.

-Configuration Management: Execute network configurations and updates according to approved Change Requests.

-Project Implementation: Lead Network Project implementations and ensure successful deployment of new infrastructure.

-Incident Handling: Manage network incidents and perform Standby on-call duties to support critical operations.

-Technical Proposals: Prepare and present technical solutions and proposals for project implementations.

-Compliance & Audit: Ensure the network infrastructure adheres to organizational standards, audit requirements, and compliance policies.

-Documentation: Create and maintain accurate technical documentation and network diagrams.

Qualifications

-Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

-Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in implementing and operating Network L3 switches, Routers, and Firewalls.

-Certification (Mandatory): Must possess at least one of the following valid certifications: CCNP, HCNP, or HPE Aruba Networking Certified Professional.

-Cybersecurity Knowledge: Understanding of cybersecurity concepts including Ransomware, Phishing, DDoS, Data Breaches, Endpoint Security

-Soft Skills: Excellent presentation, communication, and customer engagement skills with a strong service mind.

Skills

-Routing Protocols (Must-Have): Deep understanding and proven experience in implementing OSPF projects.

-Network Security (Must-Have): Extensive experience in implementing and operating Palo Alto firewalls. Experience -with Panorama is a strict requirement.

-Core Networking: Proficient in Routing, Switching, Wireless, VPN, DNS, and Load Balancing technology.

-Product Knowledge: Hands-on experience with Cisco, F5, and Palo Alto devices.

-Disaster Recovery: Ability to manage and maintain DR site connectivity.

-Cloud (Optional): Basic understanding of Cloud networking is a plus.
