We are looking for a dynamic Network Development Manager to identify new market opportunities within the APAC region and developing strategies to penetrate and expand the company's presence in those markets, with the aim to evaluate market trends, customer needs and competitive landscapes to determine the best approach for capturing market share.
Responsibilities:
- Support and expand the dealer network by updating CI elements and implementing new dealerships in collaboration with the design team in Italy and the Network Development team at headquarters. Ensure CI standards across the entire network and improve CI ratings and brand representation.
- Enhance and advise the dealer network while prioritizing the sustained financial wellbeing and operational effectiveness of dealers and importers, strengthening overall business outcomes including margin expansion and profitability.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive dynamics to support strategic decisionmaking.
- Manage the dealer and distributor appointment process, including coordination of the tender process, BPDD (Business Partner Due Diligence) monitoring and management, and compliance with the legal framework.
- Coordinate with internal and external legal advisors on all matters related to network development and support the VP Sales & Marketing in all legal matters concerning the network.
- Analyze market potential and propose solutions to rehabilitate or replace poor-performing dealers and distributors, ensuring clear diversification between the standard and offroad networks.
- Oversee the successful execution of Ducati's Retail Identity program.
- Develop and deploy annual training curricula for new and existing dealerships.
- Develop and maintain dealer standards, including updates and revisions to the Dealer Agreement, management of the annual renewal process, and monitoring dealer adherence.
- Localize all CI elements in Asia, including the complete range of CI furniture to be produced in the region, in coordination with the retail identity team in Italy.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in sales or marketing.
- Deep understanding of cultural nuances and business practices across diverse APAC markets.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use datadriven insights for strategic decisionmaking.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze dealer and importer P&L statements and develop business cases for new distributors.
- Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and operate effectively in dynamic business environments.
- Willingness to travel within the region as required.
