We are looking for a Network Development Manager, reporting to the Head of After Sales and based out of our vehicle assembly facility on the Eastern Seaboard of Thailand. The successful candidate will build and manage fleet in-territory after-sales representation by identifying, appointing, onboarding and continuously improving a dealer/service network to support fleet vehicles in the field. The role sets standards, governance and capability requirements, ensuring network readiness to win tenders and deliver consistent customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and appoint fleet dealers/distributors in priority markets; define selection criteria and appointment process.
- Define dealer standards and capability requirements (facilities, tooling, IT infrastructure, service processes and minimum parts stock).
- Lead onboarding after tender awards, ensuring rapid mobilization of after-sales capability in-territory.
- Develop market representation strategies across short-, medium- and long-term horizons aligned to business line needs.
- Set annual network development goals/targets and budgets aligned to financial and operational objectives.
- Establish governance for performance monitoring: service quality, responsiveness, compliance with standards, and customer feedback.
- Build and maintain relationships with large-scale customers and suppliers to support network enablement and growth.
- Coordinate delivery of dealer training, technical publications distribution and parts/warranty process rollout.
- Experience with Connected Vehicle Data (Telematics). understand how dealer networks can use data to provide proactive maintenance or remote diagnostics for large-scale fleet customers.
- Defining an Escalation Path. When a fleet vehicle is down in a remote territory and the local dealer isn't responding.
Skills And Qualifications
- Experience in distribution, franchise or dealer network development, ideally in automotive or adjacent industries.
- Strong understanding of market needs related to product support, after-sales requirements and distributor performance.
- Demonstrated ability to execute representation strategies and build scalable partner relationships.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across cultures and geographies.
- Awareness or experience in Electric Vehicle (EV) infrastructure and safety requirements within a dealer network.
