About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Network Operations & SD-WAN Specialist to support and enhance our managed network services, with a strong focus on SD-WAN fabric performance and hybrid cloud integration.
This role goes beyond traditional NOC monitoring and is centered on proactive network optimization, advanced troubleshooting, and continuous service improvement across customer environments. You will act as a key technical contributor in maintaining reliable, scalable, and high-performing connectivity solutions.
Work Set-up: 100% Work from home
Work Schedule: Mid to Night Shift (9-hour shift falling within 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM UK Time / 3:00 PM to 4:00 AM PH Time)
On-Call: Reactive on-call support as required for high-priority security or cloud incidents
What You'll Do (Duties and Responsibilities)
- Serve as the SME for SD-WAN environments, focusing on performance, stability, and issue resolution across customer networks
- Perform deep-dive troubleshooting and root cause analysis of SD-WAN fabric and connectivity issues
- Support and optimize hybrid cloud connectivity, including integrations with Microsoft Azure and AWS
- Drive network performance improvements by identifying recurring issues and implementing long-term fixes
- Execute controlled changes, upgrades, and patching activities across network infrastructure
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support service enhancements and new solution deployments
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and operational procedures
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
What You Bring (Skills, Qualifications or Experience)
- Certification: MUST be CCNP certified with an ACTIVE certification status.
- Strong hands-on experience with SD-WAN technologies (Silverpeak preferred)
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network environments, including routing, segmentation, and tunneling
- Solid understanding of BGP, VRFs, QoS, Multicast, NAT, tunneling technologies
- Experience working with hybrid/cloud networking (Azure, AWS connectivity)
- Background in network operations, support, or managed services environments
- Experience performing network upgrades, patching, and change implementation
- Familiarity with ITIL-based service environments and ticketing platforms
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
- Experience with Azure ExpressRoute and AWS Direct Connect
- Exposure to low-latency or media/broadcast networks
- Familiarity with Zscaler or Juniper Mist
- ITIL Foundation certification
