About The Role
Embedded in the local Commercial Excellence team, reporting to the Commercial Excellence Lead. Leads change and recommendations to improve Sales and Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) and Instore Excellence and efficiency.
Accountable for sales incentive design, performance tracking, and segmentation & targeting to enable strong execution in-store. Leads SFE analytics across sell-in/sell-out, customer data and sales KPIs, enabling decisions through rigorous analysis and clear insights.

Leads cross-functional projects as a change manager in a fast-moving, evolving environment.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the SFE team; act as the primary adviser on SFE topics
- Own segmentation & targeting cycles, customer universe and route-to-market updates
- Design and govern the Sales Incentive Plan (SIP): target setting, rules, settlement and performance monitoring
- Own key sales tools administration and adoption (e.g., SFA/CRM and execution tools); act as local super-user
- Build a clear reporting and insights ecosystem across internal/external data; track sell-in/sell-out and core KPIs
- Deliver ad-hoc analysis and recommendations to Sales, Customer Activation and Category teams
- Manage external data/analytics suppliers and related budgets; run reviews/tenders when needed
- Partner with leadership to identify issues, align priorities and drive projects that improve sales effectiveness
- Design and implement strategies to improve sales force productivity, capability, and engagement.
- Develop and manage performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools to track field force effectiveness.
- Develop strong ROI matrix and mindset with regular feedback on most effective elements.
- Implement and optimize Perfect store plus and Image recognition across entire GNE.
- Lead training and capability-building programs to enhance selling skills, product knowledge, and customer engagement.
- Collaborate with commercial, distributors and Haleon team to align incentive schemes with business objectives.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and identify areas for improvement across teams and territories.
In-Store Excellence (ISE):
- Drive execution of in-store strategies to maximize visibility, availability, and conversion at the point of sale.
- Develop and deploy best practices for merchandising, planogram compliance, and promotional execution across all GNE markets.
- Monitor and audit in-store execution quality through field visits and digital tools.
- Partner with trade marketing and sales teams to ensure alignment on campaign execution and retail standards.
- Analyse shopper behaviour and store-level data to identify opportunities for improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing, trade marketing, commercial and distributors teams to ensure alignment of field strategies with brand and business goals.
- Act as a key liaison between field teams and central functions to ensure feedback loops and continuous improvement.
- Support change management initiatives and foster a culture of excellence and accountability.
Data & Insights:
- Leverage data analytics to generate actionable insights for sales force and in-store performance.
- Continuously evaluate tools and technologies to enhance field execution and reporting capabilities.
Why you
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in a quantitative or business discipline (e.g., statistics, economics, business, engineering)
- Fluent English
- 3+ years people leadership experience
- Experience in SFE, analytics, sales or trade marketing (consumer health or FMCG preferred)
- Hands-on experience with go-to-market, segmentation & targeting, and incentive design/management
- Strong analytical and change leadership skills; able to translate data into decisions
- Strong project management, stakeholder influence and commercial acumen
- Nice to have: reporting/automation tools knowledge (e.g., SQL, VBA)
