Job Purpose
GSG/L Resident Conduct rock samples laboratory analyses to support subsurface research and study projects
Key Accountabilities
- Prepare and process subsurface rock samples according to standard operating procedures.
- Operate advanced geomechanics and SCAL laboratory equipment to perform rock mechanics and special core analysis testing in accordance with SOPs and industry standards.
- Analyse and validate geomechanical and SCAL data to evaluate rock properties, rock-fluid interactions, and reservoir characteristics.
- Adhere to ISO9001:2015 and ISO 17025:2017 standards, and Company's SSHE policies.
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness, perform equipment housekeeping, and manage inventory of supplies.
- Prepare clear and comprehensive laboratory test reports and results.
- Assist and support other laboratory team members as assigned by the Laboratory Manager.
Professional Knowledge & Experience
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Geology, Geotechnical, Civil Engineering or related field
- A minimum 5 years of experience working in a laboratory.
- English proficiency with TOEIC 550 or above
