Job Summary
Job Description
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements related to joint ventures, investment, property development, hotel management, EPC/UDA, etc. including its ancillary agreements.
- Provide strategic legal advice on corporate and commercial matters related to the Company business with a focus on construction contracts (FIDIC) and structured procedures under FIDIC.
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations, translating them into actionable guidance for stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with internal business units and stakeholders.
- Manage litigation and disputes, working closely with external counsel.
- Mentor and manage junior legal team members, encouraging culture of knowledge-sharing and professional growth.
Key Qualification
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Law (LL. B or LL.M) with a valid license to practice
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a law firm or real estate company (preferred international company)
- Strong negotiation, persuasive, communication, and interpersonal skills, demonstrated through effective interactions.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to give precision-driven legal opinion and advice to related business units.
- Strategic thinking and analytical mindset.
- In-depth knowledge of construction, real estate and commercial regulations and laws, including market practices.
- Fluency in both speaking and writing English.
