Job Description: OpenLink Endur / ETRM Application Support Engineer
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced OpenLink Endur / ETRM Application Support Engineer to support and maintain mission-critical Energy Trading & Risk Management platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in enterprise application support, infrastructure operations, incident management, automation, and production environment stability.
The role involves working closely with business users, application teams, infrastructure teams, and vendors to ensure reliable operation of ETRM systems in a highly available trading environment.
Key Responsibilities
- 5+ years in Provide L2/L3 application support for OpenLink Endur / ETRM platforms
- Monitor production environments and ensure platform availability and performance
- Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, database, and integration issues
- Perform incident management, problem management, and root cause analysis (RCA)
- Support Endur application deployments, upgrades, and environment management
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to resolve production issues
- Manage Windows and Linux server environments supporting enterprise applications
- Perform Microsoft SQL Server administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
- Develop automation scripts using PowerShell and Python to improve operational efficiency
- Support CI/CD processes using tools such as GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps
- Manage cloud infrastructure and operational tasks within AWS environments
- Implement infrastructure automation using Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
- Maintain monitoring, alerting, and operational support processes
Required Skills & Experience
- Hands-on experience supporting OpenLink Endur / ETRM platforms
- Strong understanding of Energy Trading and Risk Management systems
- Experience in production application support (L2/L3)
- Strong Windows Server administration skills
- Experience with Linux administration and troubleshooting
- Microsoft SQL Server administration and performance tuning experience
- Knowledge of AWS cloud services and cloud infrastructure
- Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices
- Strong scripting skills using PowerShell and/or Python
- Experience with monitoring tools, incident management, and ITIL processes
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in energy trading, commodities, or financial markets environments
- Experience supporting high-availability production systems
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working with enterprise middleware and integrations
- Strong communication skills with technical and business stakeholders
