OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE (KYC)
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the client onboarding and KYC/CDD processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness in accordance with established day-to-day SLAs.
- Review, validate, and authorize new account documentation, acting as the main approver for account opening requests for all registered customers.
- Perform accurate data entry and identity verification of client particulars (including names, addresses, CIP ID card photos, and selfies) prior to granting final approval.
- Oversee sanction screening and name screening processes to effectively mitigate money laundering risks.
- Analyze pain points in the onboarding process and propose workflow improvements to create a more streamlined, rapid, and automated operation.
- Coordinate with other departments to resolve any discrepancies and ensure a smooth overall onboarding workflow.
- Any ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration and finance or related fields.
- At least 1 year experience in account opening function from securities companies/ or financial institutions.
- Able to work in shifts (Both day and night shifts)
- Able to work 5 days/week (days off may vary, not guaranteed on weekends)
- Proficiency in English (both spoken and written)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially word and excel.
