Job Description:
1. Operations & Production Management
- Plan, manage, and control daily operations of paint manufacturing and/or distribution to meet sales demand and business targets.
- Coordinate with Production, R&D, and Quality teams to ensure product specifications and standards are met.
- Improve production efficiency, yield, and capacity utilization while minimizing downtime and waste.
2. Supply Chain & Inventory Management
- Oversee raw material sourcing, inventory control, and finished goods management.
- Ensure optimal stock levels to support sales channels (retail, dealer, project, and online).
- Work closely with Procurement to ensure timely supply of pigments, resins, solvents, and packaging materials.
3. Logistics & Distribution
- Manage warehousing, transportation, and delivery operations to ensure on-time and cost-effective distribution.
- Optimize logistics routes and warehouse layout to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Monitor third-party logistics providers and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
4. Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, environmental regulations, and local safety laws.
- Implement and monitor quality control procedures to maintain consistent decorative paint performance (color accuracy, durability, coverage).
- Promote workplace safety and ensure adherence to EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards.
5. Cost Control & Process Improvement
- Prepare and manage operational budgets and cost control initiatives.
- Analyze operational KPIs and drive continuous improvement (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma).
- Lead productivity improvement and automation initiatives where applicable.
6. Cross-functional Coordination
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Merchandising teams to support promotions, new product launches, and seasonal demand.
- Support technical services and after-sales teams to resolve operational or quality-related issues.
- Act as a key liaison between factory operations and commercial teams.
7. Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach, and develop operations, warehouse, and logistics teams.
- Set performance goals, conduct evaluations, and support skill development.
- Build a strong culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Supply Chain, or related fields.
- At least 10 years of experience in operations management, preferably in decorative paint, coatings, chemicals, or FMCG manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of paint manufacturing processes, raw materials, and quality standards.
- Proven experience managing large teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Flexible to travel overseas to support regional operations.
