Responsibilities
1.Automation System Design & Development:
- End-to-End Development: Responsible for the design and development of automation machines and systems from concept design to on-site installation and commissioning.
- PLC Programming: Develop PLC programs (focusing on Omron and Siemens) and HMI systems to ensure efficient machine control and operation.
- System Integration: Integrate control systems by connecting PLCs with various peripheralssuch as Inverters, Servo Motors, Robots, and Vision Systemsvia industrial protocols (e.g., Modbus RTU/TCP, Ethernet/IP, Profinet).
2.IoT & Data Connectivity :
- IoT Implementation: Design and implement IoT architecture to retrieve data directly from the shop floor (machines) to the Database/Server level.
- IT/OT Bridging: Bridge the gap between OT (Operational Technology) and IT to facilitate real-time data analysis and dashboard visualization.
3.Maintenance & Support:
- Start-up Support: Handle preventive maintenance and troubleshooting during the initial start-up phase before handing over the system to the production and maintenance teams.
- Documentation: Create user manuals and provide initial operational training to operators.
Qualifications
1.Education & Experience:
- Degree: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in PLC software design and automation system development.
2.Technical Skills (Hard Skills):
- PLC Expertise: Expert proficiency in Omron and Siemens PLCs. Experience with both Ladder Logic and Structured Text is highly desirable.
- Connectivity: Strong understanding and practical experience with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, TCP/IP, etc.).
- IoT Capability: Proven ability to implement IoT systems ,capable of linking Machine-to-Database using various software stacks.
- Electrical Design: Capable of designing electrical control panels, sizing components, and interpreting complex wiring diagrams.
3.Managerial & Soft Skills:
- Project Management: Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Growth Mindset: Eager to learn and adapt to new technologies (e.g., AI, Advanced IoT).
- Problem Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills with a focus on productivity improvement and LEAN methodologies.
