Job Description

Job Purpose

In this role, you will oversee nationwide operations, drive service excellence, ensure compliance with international standards, and lead a high-performing team delivering inspection, sampling, testing support, and related agricultural services. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in a dynamic operational environment and is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage nationwide daily inspection schedules.
  • Allocate inspectors, vehicles and equipment efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with BV procedures, ISO/IEC 17020, 14000, 45000 and ISO 9001, HSE, IFIA, GAFTA/FOSFA requirements.
  • Review inspection reports before release when required.
  • Manage subcontractors and operational vendors.
  • Investigate customer complaints and implement CAPA.
  • Monitor KPIs, productivity, utilization, overtime and operating costs.
  • Support business continuity and emergency response.
  • Develop SOPs and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Recruit, coach and evaluate inspectors and coordinators.
  • Support sales with technical proposals, tenders and new services.
  • Maintain relationships with ports, warehouses and laboratories.
  • Strongly and ensuring that can be complying with BV safety rules.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Food Science, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
  • 5-10 years of relevant operational experience, with at least 1-3 years in a leadership or people management role.
  • Strong understanding of agricultural commodities, inspection services, export logistics, warehousing, or related industries.
  • Proven experience in operations management, resource planning, and performance monitoring.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and people development skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
  • Good command of both written and spoken English.
