The Operations Manager will facilitate and manage all day-to-day operations of all projects owned by JABIL and optimize efficiency and uptime. Also, this position need verse multiple areas and shifts ensuring safe and quality production.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive manufacturing teams to achieve established targets for daily going rate and on-time shipments as well as development and continuous improvement of key metrics
- Conduct analysis and prepare reports on projects and process improvements as well as make countermeasures for timely completion of project goals
- Build a strong, motivated team capable of consistently delivering high-quality products against aggressive production targets
- Support issue resolution including root cause investigation & an environment of continuous learning and improvement
- Ensure consistency in standards and documentation. Monitor for compliance as well as support and manage continuous improvement activities in safety, quality, cost, efficiency, and productivity objectives
- JOB QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
- Engineering Degree, 5+ year experience managing teams of people in a high-volume manufacturing setting, or equivalent.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies to optimize efficiency and throughput.
- Ability to work well under pressure, manage competing demands and meet tight deadlines.
- In depth understanding of mechanical production and standardized processes.
- Ability to command the English language, both written and verbal. (Speaking Thai is a plus)
- Strong organization skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Fluent with common MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
