Key Responsibilities: -
- Oversee and manage day-to-day freight forwarding operations, with a strong emphasis on ocean freight supporting and activities.
- Coordinate and optimize shipment movements between, ensuring smooth execution, timelines, and compliance.
- Set up and manage operational processes, workflows, and SOPs for the TH Office operations.
- Supervise and support operations team, with a hands-on management approach.
- Monitor operational costs, margins, and performance indicators, contributing to P&L control from an operational standpoint.
- Ensure compliance with international trade & local regulations, customs requirements, and company protocols.
- Liaise closely with carriers, shipping lines, agents, and service providers to secure reliable operational solutions.
- Use and oversee systems to monitor shipments, billing, and documentation, ensuring accuracy and prompt updates.
- Work in close coordination with regional teams, to ensure seamless cross-border execution.
- Act as the key operational point of contact for customers, ensuring service quality and issue resolution.
Qualification: -
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in freight forwarding, with strong preference for ocean freight experience.
- Experience with CargoWise (CW1) is a strong advantage.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Strong hands-on mindset with the ability to manage daily execution as well as team supervision.
- Fluency in English to liaise with regional teams and partners.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels, including management.
