Our client is a Westernize plastic injection manufacturer with over 15 years operating in Thailand. They are currently seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and oversee key departments, including Production, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Human Resources. This role will also involve close collaboration with overseas Sales and Technical teams.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for daily operations, problem-solving, coaching teams, and ensuring high standards in productivity, safety, quality, and compliance.
- Regularly engage hands-on with frontline teams on the production floor, providing active leadership, guidance, and support to solve issues in real-time.
- Implement operational KPIs to track plant performance, including Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), production efficiency, and resource utilization.
- Assume accountability for the site&aposs annual operating budget, collaborating closely with the Finance Manager.
- Drive cost-saving initiatives, resource optimization, and efficiency improvement projects to ensure plant profitability and sustainability.
- Provide clear, consistent reporting aligned with corporate guidelines and timelines.
- Act as the Plants Safety Manager, championing a safety- first culture and ensuring compliance with Workplace.
- Health & Safety regulations, local laws, and corporate safety standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and ensure thorough reporting and corrective actions on safety- related incidents.
- Lead and oversee ISO, BRC, and any other relevant regulatory compliance programs.
- Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship to direct reports, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Ensure effective workforce planning, talent management, training, and succession planning in collaboration with HR.
- Oversee all plant maintenance activities to maximize uptime and minimize downtime.
- Ensure effective preventative and corrective maintenance of production equipment, machinery, and infrastructure.
- Lead facility management, including building infrastructure, utilities (electricity, water, compressed air, HVAC), and general plant upkeep.
- Manage facility-related projects and CAPEX initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce operating costs.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree with over 10 years of experiences working as the Operation leader in MNC manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge and experiences of Injection and assembly process.
- Experiences of managing multi-disciplinary teams (Production, Maintenance, Finance, HR, Safety, Quality).
- Result driven, Proactive, familiar with MNC working environment.
- Good to Very Good communication skills in English.
