Responsibilities
- Liaise with principals, vessel masters, port authorities, terminals, depots, customers, and related parties on operational matters.
- Coordinate vessel schedules, port calls, and overall operational activities with internal teams, terminals, and related parties.
- Arrange terminal operations and required port formalities.
- Monitor loading and discharge operations to ensure efficiency and schedule compliance.
- Prepare and verify operational and related documentations.
- Handle operational issues and claims, providing timely updates to management and principals.
- Maintain accurate operational records and update data in the company system.
- Prepare regular operational reports for principals and management.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the shipping line or freight forwarder will be an advantage.
- Good computer skills and proficiency in email correspondence.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under high pressure and solve problems efficiently.
- Strong service-mindedness and a sense of responsibility.
- Exceptional interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
