Design, integrate, and validate optical blocks and products to meet economical targets.
Review and analyze internal requirements, customer requirements, and specifications.
Perform optical design simulations, coding, and validation in compliance with design rules.
Conduct optical design calculations (including worst-case and statistical analysis) and support thermal studies.
Perform and support optical testing and experiments.
Support technical architecture, standard assignments, and strictly follow standardization rules.
Project & Communication
Support and participate in design reviews with internal teams and external suppliers.
Regularly report task progress to management.
Proactively identify and escalate any project risks.
Perform all activities in compliance with the Métier Development Plan (PG/PL).
Innovation & Team Support
Conduct tech watch analysis on industry trends, new products, and patents.
Participate in creativity meetings to propose innovative, patentable solutions.
Suggest improvements for laboratory materials or methodologies to increase efficiency.
Support and supervise trainees within your field of expertise (as you gain experience).
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Bachelor's or higher in Physics, Applied Physics, Optoelectronics, Mechanical Engineering,Electronic engineer, Electric engineer, Industrial engineer or a related field.
Experience: New graduates are 0 - 3 years in Automotive industry is a plus
CAD Skills: Basic knowledge in 2D/3D CATIA, AutoCAD, SolidWorks or NX
Language: Good command of English. Must be able to read engineering specifications, write reports, and communicate effectively with internal teams and suppliers.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proactive attitude, and a good team player.
Positive attitude and willingness to work in a multidisciplinary environment
