Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for the Optical and Metrology Supervisor, based in Thailand. The role involves overseeing the daily operations of the optical and metrology department, including performing precision measurements, ensuring quality control, and maintaining compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities also include troubleshooting equipment, managing a team of technicians, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes and improve product quality.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of precision optical manufacturing practices including design, assembly, and testing of optical systems
  • Proficiency in metrology equipment and techniques, with expertise in performing high-accuracy measurements and data analysis
  • Leadership experience, including team management and the ability to train and develop staff
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify improvements in processes and workflows
  • Familiarity with quality control standards and best practices in optical manufacturing
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders
  • Preferably, a Bachelor's degree in Optical Engineering, physics, or a related field
  • Practical experience in optical technology, optical design, or active alignment processes is a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
