The Consulting – Finance Transformation – Oracle team is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our growing EPM practice.
We are looking for an experienced consulting professional who can lead workstreams, drive solution design, and mentor team members, with a strong understanding of Oracle EPCM/PCMCS, industry best practices, and end-to-end finance processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own end-to-end delivery of Oracle EPCM/PCMCS workstreams, from requirements through design, build, testing, and go-live support.
- Lead solution design workshops and translate business requirements into scalable allocation models, rule sets, and calculation logic.
- Manage day-to-day engagement activities (scope, plan, risks, dependencies), ensuring outcomes meet quality, timeline, and budget expectations.
- Review configuration and deliverables produced by the team (rules, metadata, data loads, documentation) and enforce standards and best practices.
- Mentor junior team members, support proposal pursuits, and contribute to practice assets (templates, accelerators, reusable components).
Requirement
- 6–10 years of hands-on experience with Oracle EPCM/PCMCS, including end-to-end implementations of medium to large-scale profitability and cost allocation models.
- Proven experience designing and building allocation rules and custom calculations, including rule-set sequencing, performance considerations, and model execution strategy.
- Ability to troubleshoot and reconcile allocation results (e.g., driver intersections, unexpected variances), define test cases, and lead SIT/UAT cycles with business stakeholders.
- Experience with integrations (Data Management / EPM Automate / REST APIs) for inbound and outbound data loads; exposure to orchestration and scheduling is an advantage.
- Strong stakeholder management skills to work closely with business users, drive decisions, and provide clear status, risks, and mitigation plans.
- Excellent documentation and presentation skills, with the ability to create design artifacts, test evidence, training content, and executive-ready summaries.
Good to Have
- Experience with FR/Financial Reporting and building reconciliation/analysis packs.
- Exposure to other Oracle EPM cloud modules (EPBCS/Planning, FCCS, EDMCS) and end-to-end EPM architecture.
- Oracle certification(s) and experience contributing to pre-sales (solutioning, effort estimates, proposals, demos).
Experience & Background
- Graduate qualification (B.E./B.Tech) / MBA / MCA.
- 6–10 years of relevant experience across Oracle Hyperion / Oracle EPM tools, with at least 3+ years focused on EPCM/PCMCS profitability and cost management.
- Strong communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to lead discussions, influence stakeholders, and present to senior audiences.
