We're now looking for a
Packaging Design Engineer in Thailand to drive growth, win new customers, and strengthen our presence in key industries.
What You'll Do
- Design industrial packaging solutions for global customers, focusing on performance, cost, and sustainability.
- Create CAD drawings and accurate Bills of Materials (BOM) to support costing, sourcing, and production.
- Develop, build, and evaluate prototypes and sample packaging to validate design, materials, and performance.
- Define material specifications, structure, and assembly methods to ensure packaging integrity during transport and storage.
- Support new product development, customer trials, and engineering changes.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Sourcing, Production, and Quality teams to ensure design and BOM accuracy.
- Review and improve existing designs to enhance cost efficiency, manufacturability, and sustainability.
What We're Looking For
- Engineering degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in packaging or mechanical design within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong capability in creating and managing BOMs with cost and material awareness.
- Hands-on mindset with experience or interest in prototype, sample, and trial builds.
- Ability to translate requirements into clear drawings and production-ready designs.
- Good English reading and writing skills.
- Structured, detail-oriented, and solution-driven mindset.
