Job brief
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented
Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a law degree and a proven track record of providing administrative and legal support. We also welcome new law graduates who have internship experience in law firms or corporate legal departments.
This position requires a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various legal documents
- Conducting legal research
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
Responsibilities
- Draft and review various contracts and legal documents, including lease agreements, service contracts, and NDAs.
- Ensure all legal documents are accurate, up-to-date, and comply with relevant laws and regulations.
- Manage the document lifecycle, from initial drafting to execution and archiving.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research involving real estate, investment, property management using tools such as Google, Gemini, Westlaw, and Ratchakitcha.
- Provide research support on regulatory requirements, court precedents, and statutory interpretations.
- Summarize findings and prepare reports for review by the legal team.
- Manage the scheduling and coordination of meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for the legal team.
- Prepare and format legal documents, letters, and reports as required.
- Handle administrative tasks such as document filing, database management, and correspondence.
- Coordinate with government agencies, police, courts, and other stakeholders as needed.
- Handle procedural requirements for court filings, police complaints, and liaising with prisons if necessary.
Requirements
- Thai Nationality
- Bachelor of Law (LL.B) or equivalent legal degree.
- 12 years of experience as a paralegal, legal administrator, or legal secretary is preferred. New graduates with the right attitude and aptitude are encouraged to apply and will be carefully considered.
- Fluency in English, ensuring clarity and precision in both verbal and written correspondence.
- Proficiency in a third language (preferably Chinese or Korean) is a plus.
- Proficiency in using research tools such as Google, Gemini, Westlaw, and Ratchakitcha.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace tools.
- Familiarity with Ministry of Justice systems like CIOS and LED.
- Basic skills in design tools such as Canva is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of justice system processes, including court procedures, police interactions, and prison protocols.
- Strong professional attitude with excellent follow-through.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on providing effective solutions.
- Positive thinker who contributes to a healthy and collaborative work environment.
