Job Purpose
The People Development & Engagement Specialist is responsible for implementing Learning & Development (L&D) programs, employee engagement (EE) initiatives, compliance training, and technical upskilling through the Garment Academy. This role ensures consistent learning experiences, fosters employee connection, and supports compliance in a high-volume, multi-country factory environment.
Key Responsibilities
Learning & Development
- Facilitate training programs across core, leadership, and functional competency frameworks.
- Coordinate logistics for in-person, on-site, and virtual learning sessions.
- Track training completion, feedback, and effectiveness through evaluations and reports.
- Support Individual Development Plans (IDPs) and succession planning alignment.
- Monitor factory-specific training initiatives (line leader development, technical cross-skilling).
- Prepare training materials, checklists, and attendance records in LMS or Excel.
- Organize and follow up on compliance training (code of conduct, safety, HR policies).
- Conduct post-training surveys and field check-ins to ensure learning transfer.
Employee Engagement & Communication
- Execute company-wide engagement activities and internal communication campaigns.
- Track and analyze engagement survey data; support follow-up action plans at factory/site level.
- Coordinate culture-building initiatives aligned with company core values and EVP.
- Manage communication updates (bulletin boards, digital signage, factory channels).
- Support employee suggestion programs, recognition, and engagement events (e.g., anniversaries, celebrations).
Compliance & Reporting
- Maintain accurate training and engagement documentation for monthly reporting and audits.
- Prepare records for buyer/customer inspections and compliance checks.
- Collect and analyze training and engagement data to identify gaps and opportunities.
- Collaborate with HRBP, PDEE Lead, for alignment with global people development strategy.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, or related field.
- 35 years of experience in Learning & Development, Employee Engagement, within a manufacturing/garment industry.
- Strong facilitation, training coordination, and compliance knowledge.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, LMS platforms, and reporting tools.
- Experience in multi-site or multi-country environments is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in both Thai and English (written and spoken).
