Role summary PwC Thailand's People & Organisation team helps clients transform their HR function and workforce to deliver business outcomes. As a Senior Consultant focused on HR Advisory, you will lead and deliver workstreams across organisation design, change management, rewards, and core HR disciplines (performance, talent, learning, employee experience, workforce planning, policies and governance). You will work closely with client HR and business leaders to diagnose issues, design pragmatic solutions tailored to the Thai market, and drive adoption and measurable impact.
What you'll do
- Lead end-to-end HR advisory workstreams from discovery through design and implementation, managing scope, timelines, risks and quality.
- Organisation design:
- Assess current structures, spans and layers, role clarity and governance; recommend target operating models and org structures.
- Develop role/grade architecture, job families, competency frameworks and career paths.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops and decision-making around roles, accountabilities and governance.
- Change management and culture:
- Build change strategies, stakeholder maps, impact assessments, communications and training plans.
- Support leadership alignment, change champion networks, and employee listening (surveys, focus groups, pulse checks).
- Shape culture and ways of working aligned to business strategy and values.
- Rewards and benefits:
- Conduct reward diagnostics, external benchmarking and internal equity analysis.
- Design salary structures, pay ranges, progression rules, pay-for-performance mechanisms and recognition programs.
- Design STI/LTI and sales incentive plans; align KPIs and performance measures; model cost/impact and implementation scenarios.
- Review and optimise benefits (statutory and non-statutory), provident fund approaches, wellness and flexibility.
- Performance, talent and learning:
- Redesign performance management (e.g., OKRs, continuous feedback) and talent review processes (e.g., nine-box, succession planning).
- Define learning strategies, capability frameworks and development programs; support academy/learning operating model.
- Workforce planning and HR policy:
- Develop strategic workforce plans, skills taxonomies and resourcing models.
- Update HR policies, SOPs and governance aligned to Thai labour law and PDPA; define HR KPIs and service commitments.
- Employee experience:
- Map employee journeys and moments that matter; design services to improve engagement, productivity and retention.
- M&A and restructuring support (as applicable):
- Conduct HR due diligence, synergy and risk assessments; design Day-1/Day-100 plans, org and reward harmonisation, and culture integration.
- Analytics and insight:
- Translate data into insight (e.g., pay equity, attrition drivers, performance distributions); build dashboards and metrics.
- Client management and business development:
- Prepare proposals, deliverables and executive presentations; contribute to thought leadership relevant to Thailand and Southeast Asia.
- Coach junior team members; ensure adherence to PwC quality standards and methodologies.
Required qualifications and experience
- 28 years experience in HR advisory or HR transformation within consulting firm
Hands-on experience with:
- Organisation design (operating model, spans/layers, role design, governance).
- Change management (communications, training, stakeholder engagement, adoption).
- Rewards (benchmarking, pay structures, incentive design, benefits optimization).
- Performance/talent processes and frameworks; learning strategy and capability building.
