Job Summary:**

The Personal Banker (PB) at UOB (Thai) Public Company Limited is a key client-facing role responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with individual customers. The PB acts as a primary point of contact, providing personalized financial advice and solutions to meet customer needs, while contributing to the bank's sales and service objectives.

Job Responsibilities:**

  • **Client Relationship Management:** Develop and nurture long-term relationships with individual customers by understanding their financial goals, needs, and preferences.
  • **Sales and Advisory:** Proactively identify sales opportunities and offer a comprehensive range of banking products and services, including deposits, loans, investments, insurance, and digital banking solutions, tailored to customer requirements.
  • **Financial Planning:** Conduct financial needs analysis and provide sound financial advice to customers, assisting them in achieving their financial objectives.
  • **Customer Service Excellence:** Deliver exceptional customer service, handle inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a seamless banking experience for all clients.
  • **Referral Management:** Identify and refer customers to specialized units within the bank (e.g., wealth management, business banking) when their needs extend beyond personal banking offerings.
  • **Compliance and Risk Management:** Adhere to all internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, ensuring ethical conduct and minimizing operational risks.
  • **Market Intelligence:** Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and new product developments to effectively position UOB's offerings.
  • **Reporting:** Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity reports as required by management.

Job Qualifications:**

  • **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
  • **Experience:** Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a customer-facing sales or service role within the financial services industry, preferably in banking. Fresh graduates with strong interpersonal skills and a keen interest in finance may be considered.
  • **Skills:**
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills (both Thai and English proficiency is highly desirable).
  • Strong sales and negotiation abilities with a customer-centric approach.
  • Good understanding of banking products, services, and financial markets.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and provide appropriate advice.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • **Licenses/Certifications:** Relevant financial licenses or certifications (e.g., Single License) are a plus, or a willingness to obtain them within a specified timeframe.
