Job Summary
The Personal Banker (PB) is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with UOB customers by understanding their financial needs and providing suitable banking products and services. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, achieving sales targets, and ensuring compliance with all banking regulations.
Job Responsibilities
- **Customer Relationship Management:**
- Actively engage with customers to identify their financial goals and present appropriate banking solutions, including deposits, loans, investments, insurance, and digital banking services.
- Proactively manage and grow a portfolio of individual customers, fostering long-term relationships through regular contact and personalized service.
- Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide comprehensive support to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Educate customers on various banking products, services, and digital channels to enhance their banking experience.
- **Sales and Business Development:**
- Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets for various banking products and services.
- Identify new business opportunities by attracting new customers and cross-selling/up-selling to existing customers.
- Participate in marketing and promotional activities to expand UOB's customer base.
- Prepare and process customer applications accurately and efficiently, adhering to all internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- **Compliance and Risk Management:**
- Ensure strict adherence to all UOB internal policies, procedures, and relevant banking regulations (e.g., AML, KYC, PDPA).
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and documentation.
- Identify and escalate any suspicious activities or potential risks to the appropriate channels.
- **Team Collaboration:**
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and other departments to ensure seamless customer service and product delivery.
- Participate in regular training and development programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in sales, customer service, or banking, preferably in a financial institution.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong customer relationships.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills in both Thai and English.
- Strong understanding of banking products, services, and financial markets.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Results-oriented with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and ethical conduct.
- Possession of relevant licenses or certifications (e.g., investment consultant license) is a plus.
