Job Summary
As a Personal Banker at UOB (Thai), you will be the primary point of contact for our individual customers, providing expert financial advice and solutions to help them achieve their financial goals. You will be responsible for building strong client relationships, identifying their needs, and offering relevant banking products and services.
Job Responsibilities
- Proactively engage with customers to understand their financial needs and objectives, offering personalized advice and solutions.
- Promote and sell a wide range of UOB products and services, including deposit accounts, loans, credit cards, investments, and insurance, to meet individual customer requirements.
- Develop and manage a portfolio of individual clients, nurturing long-term relationships and maximizing customer loyalty.
- Conduct financial health checks and needs analyses for customers, providing tailored recommendations.
- Ensure all sales and service activities adhere to UOB's policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including account opening, loan applications, and investment placements.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally, escalating complex matters when necessary.
- Actively participate in branch sales campaigns and initiatives to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, competitive offerings, and UOB's product suite.
- Collaborate effectively with other internal departments to ensure seamless customer service and cross-selling opportunities.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a customer-facing sales role within the banking or financial services industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong customer relationships.
- Strong understanding of banking products and services, including deposits, loans, credit cards, and basic investment instruments.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Ability to analyze financial information and provide sound financial advice.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fluency in Thai and good command of English (both written and spoken).
- Relevant financial licenses or certifications (e.g., Investment Planner, Insurance Agent) are a plus.
