Job Summary

The Personal Banker (PB) at UOB (Thai) Public Company Limited is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with individual clients, providing comprehensive financial advice, and selling a range of banking products and services to meet their needs. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to the bank's sales targets.

Job Responsibilities

  • **Client Relationship Management:** Develop and nurture long-term relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their financial goals and preferences.
  • **Financial Product Sales:** Proactively identify client needs and effectively cross-sell and up-sell a variety of banking products and services, including savings accounts, current accounts, fixed deposits, loans, credit cards, insurance, and investment products.
  • **Customer Service Excellence:** Provide personalized and efficient service, resolving client inquiries and issues promptly and professionally.
  • **Financial Advisory:** Offer expert financial advice and solutions tailored to individual client requirements, ensuring they make informed decisions.
  • **Sales Target Achievement:** Consistently meet and exceed individual and branch sales targets for deposits, loans, investments, and other financial products.
  • **Compliance and Risk Management:** Adhere strictly to all internal policies, banking regulations, and compliance requirements, ensuring ethical and responsible banking practices.
  • **Market Intelligence:** Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and new product offerings to identify opportunities and enhance service delivery.
  • **Documentation and Administration:** Ensure accurate and complete documentation for all client transactions and applications.
  • **Collaboration:** Work closely with other departments, such as credit and operations, to facilitate smooth client experiences.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales, customer service, or relationship management within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with fluency in Thai and good command of English.
  • Strong understanding of banking products, financial markets, and investment principles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Relevant licenses or certifications (e.g., investment consultant license) are a plus.
