Job Description

Job Summary**

The Personal Banker at UOB (Thai) Public Company Limited is a customer-facing role responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with individual clients. This position involves understanding client financial needs, providing expert advice on banking products and services, and facilitating transactions to achieve both client satisfaction and business growth.

Job Responsibilities**

  • Cultivate and manage a portfolio of individual clients, acting as their primary point of contact for all banking needs.
  • Identify client financial goals and recommend appropriate UOB products and services, including savings accounts, current accounts, fixed deposits, loans, credit cards, and investment solutions.
  • Proactively engage with clients to deepen relationships, cross-sell relevant products, and identify opportunities for wealth management services.
  • Process various banking transactions accurately and efficiently, adhering to all UOB policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Educate clients on digital banking platforms and encourage their adoption for convenient and secure transactions.
  • Address client inquiries, resolve issues, and handle complaints professionally and promptly, escalating complex matters when necessary.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and UOB product developments to provide informed advice to clients.
  • Achieve individual and team sales targets and contribute to the overall branch performance.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service excellence, ensuring a positive and seamless banking experience.
  • Comply with all internal controls, compliance regulations, and anti-money laundering (AML) policies.

Job Qualifications**

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service or sales role within the banking or financial services industry, preferably as a Personal Banker.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong understanding of banking products, services, and financial markets.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluency in Thai and good command of English (both written and spoken).
  • Knowledge of relevant banking regulations and compliance requirements is an advantage.
  • Possession of relevant financial licenses or certifications (e.g., Investment Consultant license) is a plus.
