Our client is seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to manage planning and scheduling for petroleum construction projects covering mechanical, civil, electrical, and instrumentation works. The role involves manpower and resource planning, schedule control, and progress monitoring to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with engineering, quality, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage manpower, resources, construction materials, and tools for petroleum construction projects, including mechanical, civil, electrical, and instrumentation works.
- Be responsible for project planning and management to ensure assigned projects are completed according to the schedule, engineering standards, quality requirements, and approved budgets.
- Inspect, monitor, and report project progress, including regularly presenting updates on project status and performance.
- Support the Project Manager in overall project execution, including reviewing contract terms and conditions to ensure all activities are delivered on time and within the specified budget.
- Participate in meetings and collaborate with the Project Manager to provide periodic updates on project progress.
- Actively participate in and support 5S activities to promote workplace organization, safety, and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in positions involving supervision of electrical system installation in chemical industrial plants and general industrial plants; supervision of structural construction; gas and oil pipeline installation; and mechanical equipment installation.
- Training: Safety Officer (Management Level)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
- Responsible, with leadership skills and the ability to manage a team; patient and possess good interpersonal skills.
