Material Planning Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Forecasting and planning material requirements based on production schedules and customer demand

• Collaborating with the procurement team to source and purchase necessary materials

• Maintaining inventory levels and monitoring stock to prevent shortages or overstock

• Coordinating with the production team to ensure timely delivery of materials

• Analysing data and generating reports to optimize the material planning process

• Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a material planning or production planning role within the manufacturing industry

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with data and generate insights

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams

• Proficiency in using enterprise resource planning SAP systems and data analysis tools

• Understanding of production processes and supply chain management principles
