With multiple production sites under its portfolio, the company is seeking a strategic Plant Director to unify operational standards, drive performance improvement, and build a culture of sustainable excellence across locations.
Key Responsibilities
Multi-Site Operational Leadership
- Provide strategic direction and governance across multiple manufacturing plants.
- Standardize operational processes, KPIs, and performance management systems.
- Ensure alignment between site leadership and corporate objectives.
Lean Transformation & Continuous Improvement
- Lead enterprise-wide Lean initiatives to improve productivity, reduce waste, and optimize cost structures.
- Deploy structured problem-solving methodologies and performance frameworks across all sites.
- Champion a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
Performance & Capability Development
- Build and mentor plant leadership teams to strengthen operational discipline and accountability.
- Drive capability development in Lean, Six Sigma, and operational excellence methodologies.
- Establish succession planning and leadership pipelines across sites.
Operational Strategy & Scalability
- Identify opportunities for process harmonization, shared resources, and efficiency gains.
- Support capacity planning, footprint optimization, and future expansion initiatives.
- Lead cross-site collaboration to share best practices and technical knowledge.
Governance & Stakeholder Engagement
- Monitor performance metrics across all locations and implement corrective actions when required.
- Act as a key interface between executive leadership and site management teams.
- Provide regular reporting on operational performance, risks, and transformation progress.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience managing multiple manufacturing sites or large-scale operations.
- Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt with demonstrated success leading transformation programs.
- Strong background in operational excellence, performance turnaround, and process standardization.
- Industry-agnostic experience with the ability to adapt across diverse manufacturing environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead senior teams, influence stakeholders, and drive cultural change.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and execution capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage across all organizational levels.
- Fluent Thai and English required; additional languages are an advantage.
