Our client is setting up new factory to prepare for raw materials of foods, they are seeking an experienced and hands-on HR Plant Manager to build and lead the HR function at this new manufacturing site. This role is a unique opportunity to shape the workforce, culture, and HR foundation from day one.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and lead all HR operations for the new plant from pre-opening to full operation.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with labor law, food industry standards, and company culture.
- Work closely with Factory Manager and management team in setting up the plant structure, job design, and manpower planning.
- Promote a strong communication culture on the shopfloor, ensure fair treatment, and proactively resolve labor issues.
- Design and drive employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and grievance handling mechanisms.
- Ensure compliance with all Thai labor regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
- Manage payroll coordination, shift allowance structures, and time attendance systems.
- Support Group HR in aligning factory-level compensation with corporate standards.
- Oversee HR administration: contracts, attendance, leave, discipline, and employee records.
Qualifications:
- At least 10 years of HR experience in a manufacturing or food processing plant, and 3 years in a managerial role.
- Hands-on experience in factory setup or greenfield projects is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of Thai labor law, food industry compliance (GMP, HACCP), and labor relations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong presence on the shopfloor.
- Self-driven, structured, and flexibleable to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Thai (native) and English (working level).
