The Plant Manager is responsible for leading the entire operation, ensuring production efficiency, operational excellence, and strategic growth. The role requires deep experience in automotive seating manufacturing, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to oversee new product development, quality management, and large-scale operational processes.

Job Description
1. Operational Leadership
- Direct and manage the company's overall daily operations to ensure productivity, efficiency, and industry compliance.
- Oversee key manufacturing lines, including EDP processes, barrel treatment, and metal forming (e.g., notching, bending, deburring, chamfering).
- Coordinate effectively across production, quality assurance, supply chain, and administrative teams.
2. Production & Quality Management
- Lead production operations with a focus on continuous improvement, lean methodologies, and cost control.
- Enforce quality standards and ensure client specifications are met.
- Monitor KPIs and drive corrective and preventive action plans.
3. New Product Development (NPD)
- Oversee client audits for new models and ensure preparation of all necessary preaudit documentation and prepack.
- Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams to support design, prototype development, and industrialization of new products.
- Manage smooth transitions from prototype stages to mass production.
4. Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute business strategies aligned with long-term goals.
- Maintain strong relationships with OEM customers and external suppliers.
- Identify opportunities to enhance production capability, diversify product lines, and enter new markets.
5. People Management
- Lead and develop cross-functional teams to ensure high performance.
- Promote safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across the workforce.
- Ensure staffing alignment with organizational objectives.
6. Financial & Administrative Oversight
- Manage budgets, cost controls, and financial performance of the business unit.
- Ensure legal, regulatory, and corporate governance compliance.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Industrial Management, or related fields
- At least 10 years in the automotive industry, including a minimum of 5 years in manufacturing for automotive seating or closely related components.
- Strong background in production management, new product development, and client audit processes.
- Experience in metal forming, seat component manufacturing, or assembly operations is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional management abilities.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and IATF 16949 standards.
- Experience working with international OEMs, particularly those operating under Japanese or global standards.
