We are now seeking a dedicated and experienced Factory Manager to lead our manufacturing operations in Thailand, driving excellence, innovation, and growth.

Role Overview

As Factory Manager, you will take full ownership of our Thailand production facility, ensuring the seamless manufacturing of high-quality jewelry in line with APM Monaco's exacting standards. You will lead a diverse workforce, optimize operational efficiency, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and cross-cultural collaboration. This role demands a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and can bridge language and cultural gaps to deliver outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Leadership & Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of factory operations, including production planning, scheduling, and output to meet global demand and time-to-market targets. Drive capacity planning and resource allocation to support business growth.
  2. Quality Assurance & Craftsmanship: Uphold APM Monaco's uncompromising quality standards. Implement rigorous quality control systems across plating, assembly, polishing, and finishing, ensuring every piece reflects our luxury positioning.
  3. Team Development & Cultural Integration: Lead, mentor, and inspire a multi-cultural team of supervisors, technicians, and operators. Promote a collaborative, inclusive environment that respects local Thai culture while embedding APM Monaco's values. Build a strong pipeline of local talent and enhance employee engagement.
  4. Cost Control & Process Improvement: Manage the factory P&L, driving cost efficiency in labor, materials, and overheads. Champion Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies to boost productivity, reduce waste, and shorten lead times.
  5. Supply Chain & Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner closely with headquarter and global teams. Ensure smooth material flow, on-time delivery, and rapid prototyping support for new collections.
  6. Health, Safety, and Compliance: Guarantee a safe working environment and ensure full compliance with local Thai regulations, labor laws, and APM Monaco's corporate social responsibility standards. Lead sustainability initiatives aligned with the company's ethical commitments.
  7. Infrastructure & Technology: Oversee factory maintenance, equipment upgrades, and the adoption of relevant production technologies to enhance precision and scalability.
  8. Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary on-site leader and the main point of contact between the Thailand facility and international stakeholders. Deliver clear, transparent operational reports and action plans in English and Thai.

Qualifications & Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a plant or factory management role.
  3. Industry background in jewelry is strongly preferred.
  4. Language Proficiency: Fluent in both English and Thai (spoken and written) is mandatory. Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
  5. Proven track record of leading a factory with 300+ employees in an international or cross-cultural setting.
  6. Deep knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, and modern quality management systems. Relevant certifications are an asset.
  7. Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, cost analysis, and P&L.
  8. Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and crisis-management abilities.
  9. Demonstrated ability to manage complexity and change in a fast-moving environment.
