Responsibilities:
- Led the endtoend setup and operations of a newly established, highly automated handtool forging manufacturing facility in Thailand.
- Held full responsibility to lead daily operations, including production performance, cost control, productivity improvements, and quality compliance.
- Directed all aspects of factory establishment such as site selection, plant layout development, process and equipment design, installation, and commissioning.
- Built and implemented manufacturing systems, SOPs, work instructions, and internal controls while ensuring full compliance with Thai regulatory and labor requirements.
- Defined, executed, and monitored KPIs across safety, quality, delivery, and cost to drive operational excellence.
- Implemented a tiered accountability structure, including rootcause analysis and correctiveaction processes to strengthen operational discipline.
- Built the entire factory organization from the ground up, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and leadership development for supervisors and key operational roles.
- Acted as the primary operations interface with regional and global stakeholders, ensuring alignment on strategic and operational objectives.
- Collaborated closely with supply chain, engineering, finance, and quality teams to support seamless crossfunctional operations.
- Supported customer audits, internal audits, and regulatory inspections to maintain compliance and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with strong familiarity in hand tools production, metal forging, and metal forming processes.
- Strong expertise in establishing and optimizing production systems.
- Strong leadership, execution, and problem-solving skills.
- Exposure to multinational manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement frameworks.
- Ability to work in English; Thai language capability is a strong advantage.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
