Role Description
The Plant Manager is responsible for leading full-scale 24/7 manufacturing operations to ensure operational stability, manpower control, production efficiency, product quality, and on-time customer delivery.
This is a business-critical role due to continuous operations (2 shifts / 24 hours) and the urgent need to stabilize manpower, reduce shopfloor turnover, and support the company's transformation towards Operational Excellence and World-Class Manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
1. Full 24/7 Plant Operations Leadership
- Oversee end-to-end plant operations across all shifts (24-hour continuous production)
- Ensure stable production output, machine utilization, and operational continuity
- Ensure inventory transfer from Material, WIP, Production, Finish good and scrap are under the guideline of inventory basic(booking point) and SAP principle.
- Prevent production disruption due to manpower shortages or operational gaps
- Supervise Shift Managers, Supervisors, and Section Heads
- Establish strong shift handover, escalation, and operational discipline systems
2. Manpower Control & Turnover Stabilization (Critical Role)
- Manage workforce planning for 300 employees across 2 shifts
- Work closely with HR to address and reduce high shopfloor turnover
- Ensure adequate staffing to avoid machine downtime and productivity loss
- Improve workforce engagement, retention, and shopfloor discipline
- Strengthen middle management capabilities (Shift Leaders / Supervisors)
3. Production Performance & Efficiency
- Drive improvements in OEE, productivity, and line efficiency
- Monitor downtime, scrap, and process losses across all departments
- Implement Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Optimize resource utilization across shifts and production units
- Ensure operational stability in PET, Blow Molding, and Injection processes
4. Quality, Customer & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements and internal quality standards
- Lead RCA, CAPA, and containment actions for operational and quality issues
- Support customer audits, visits, and complaint resolution
- Maintain process consistency in a 24/7 production environment
- Ensure proper control of Raw Material, WIP, Finished Goods, and Scrap transactions in line with inventory principle
5. Safety & Operational Discipline
- Enforce EHS policies across all shifts and departments
- Promote a strong safety culture in a continuous operation environment
- Reduce incidents, especially during night shift operations
- Ensure full compliance with machine safety and workplace safety standards
6. Cross-Functional Alignment
- Align closely with VP Manufacturing on plant strategy and performance
- Collaborate effectively with:
- HR (Manpower & Attrition Control)
- Supply Chain / CSCO
- Business Development & NPD
- Engineering & Maintenance
- Quality Team
Support plant transformation initiatives and Operational Excellence roadmap

Qualifications
Must Have:
- Thai nationality (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field
- 1015+ years of experience in manufacturing operations
- Proven experience managing 24/7 factory operations
- Experience managing 200500 employees in a plant environment
- Strong hands-on shopfloor leadership (not purely strategic profile)
- Ability to manage multi-shift / continuous production operations
- Experience in Plastic Packaging / PET / Blow Molding / Injection industry
- Experience in high-turnover workforce environments
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, WCM, or Operational Excellence
- Experience reporting to VP Manufacturing, COO, or CEO
- Strong capability in stabilizing manpower and operational discipline
