A great opportunity has arisen for a motivated and experienced Plant Optimisation Sales Manager to join our dynamic team in the Asia Pacific region. This role is ideal for a proactive and results-oriented individual with a strong background in mechanical engineering and extensive experience in power plant or chiller plant projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving efficiency and performance across our regional facilities. This position requires a unique blend of technical expertise, project management acumen, and exceptional cross-cultural communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Plant Performance Optimisation: Analyse existing plant operations to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, cost reduction, and output enhancement. Develop and implement strategies to optimise the performance of power and chiller plants.
- Project Management: Lead and manage optimisation projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. This includes developing detailed project plans, managing resources, and mitigating risks.
- Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance on all aspects of plant machinery and systems, drawing on a deep understanding of power plant construction and/or chiller plant design and construction.
- Regional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams across the Asia Pacific region. Foster strong working relationships with stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and knowledge sharing.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Monitor and analyse plant performance data, preparing regular reports for senior management to track progress against key performance indicators (KPIs).

* A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable university with MBA preferred.
* A minimum of five years of professional experience in either power plant construction or chiller plant design and construction.
* Proven project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering engineering projects.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Skills and Competencies
* Language Proficiency: A high level of English competency is essential for this role.
o A minimum TOEIC score of 800 is required.
o A TOEFL score of 7.5 or above is preferred.
* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
