Job Description

Position Summary:

  • Manages product portfolio to optimize performance and drive sustainable growth by identifying new business opportunities, emphasizing differentiated and innovative product to strengthen our current portfolio

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand Thailand healthcare policy/marketing trends in 5-10 years and its impact on portfolio strategy
  • Knowledgeable in Vietnam healthcare business and policy/marketing trend
  • Understand TA strengths and disease standard of care and emerging treatment options both globally and locally by identifying attractive molecules for Thailand in key TAs
  • Develop and update portfolio strategy and TA specific strategy, in aligning with corporate objective and market opportunities
  • Set criteria and develop a rational for company product pipeline selection
  • Portfolio management including product selection, new product launch, and life cycle management in every stage of product
  • Accurately forecast stock requirements for all products in the portfolio
  • Develop business cases and align with global, regional and local stakeholders on the forecasting approach for Thailand
  • Sourcing new partners and developing new business models to enhance business growth

Technical Competencies:

  • Market and Customer Insights: Demonstrates knowledge of customer needs, behaviors and goals, as well as market dynamics, competitor and regulatory landscape.
  • Product Knowledge: Demonstrates knowledge of Lotus's therapeutic areas and products including the different stages of a product lifecycle and how to manage a brand portfolio.
  • Brand Strategy: Defines the strategic vision of a product or group of products and develops long and short-term brand strategies based on Lotus's business strategy, financial analysis, and market intelligence which gets translated into a comprehensive brand plan.

  • Payer and Channel Strategy: Applies knowledge of the healthcare environment, payer decision-making processes, and distribution channels to appropriately demonstrate value to customers while optimizing the access and touchpoints of company products.
  • Portfolio Management: Creates, manages and analyzes the health of a portfolio by using a data-driven approach in order to evaluate, select and priorities products launches and find areas of opportunity in the market where a brand or sub-brand can be positioned.
  • Launch Excellence: Ensures effective execution of tactics and activities that are rooted in the brand strategy and resonate with customers, while looking for opportunities to improve and quickly address market penetration opportunities.
  • Financial Acumen: Understands and apply business and financial knowledge through a data-driven approach in order to make sound business decisions
