PORTFOLIO SALES MANAGER
Job Scope
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Portfolio Sales Manager to lead sales strategy and revenue generation across VHG's growing portfolio of boutique, experience-led properties, including Cardamom Tented Camp, Anurak Community Lodge, Visama Explorer Nan, and the upcoming Visama Explorer Koh Ker in Cambodia.
This pivotal role requires a strategic and hands-on commercial professional who can develop and execute effective sales plans across multiple source markets, increase brand awareness, and build lasting relationships with tour operators, wholesale partners, DMCs, and other key partners in the luxury and experiential travel sectors. The Portfolio Sales Manager will be accountable for delivering commercial results across the portfolio while positioning each property's distinctive experience within a cohesive VHG sales proposition.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Strategy and Commercial Performance
- Develop and execute portfolio-wide and property-specific sales strategies aligned with business objectives, positioning, and revenue targets.
- Identify and develop opportunities across priority source markets and segments, including luxury leisure, experiential travel, corporate retreats, groups, and special events.
- Conduct market, customer, and competitor analysis to identify emerging opportunities and strengthen each property's competitive positioning.
- Establish annual sales plans, budgets, targets, and KPIs for the portfolio.
- Work with property and revenue teams to align sales activity with pricing, availability, seasonality, and occupancy requirements.
Account Management and Business Development
- Build and manage relationships with key accounts, including tour operators, travel agents, DMCs, luxury travel advisors, corporate clients, and distribution partners.
- Grow production from existing accounts while prospecting and securing new business and distribution opportunities.
- Maintain an accurate and active sales pipeline in the CRM, including account activity, opportunities, follow-up actions, and conversion status.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and preferred partnerships that deliver sustainable value for the properties.
- Plan and conduct sales calls, presentations, site inspections, familiarization trips, and partner training.
- Represent VHG and its properties at trade shows, sales missions, industry events, and networking functions.
- Evaluate the commercial return from trade shows, sales trips, familiarization visits, and other business-development activities.
Brand Positioning and Marketing Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing to develop relevant sales collateral, partner communications, campaigns, packages, and promotional offers.
- Provide market and customer insights to support campaign planning, content development, and digital strategy.
- Ensure that each property's positioning and key selling points are communicated consistently across all sales channels and touchpoints.
- Coordinate cross-selling across the portfolio and ensure that partners understand the distinct positioning of each property.
- Foster a commercially focused culture across the portfolio by sharing market intelligence, account feedback, and sales opportunities with property teams.
Reporting, Forecasting and Performance Management
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports covering account production, pipeline value, conversion, source markets, segments, and property-level performance.
- Track results against budget, sales targets, and agreed KPIs, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
- Conduct regular account and segment reviews to identify growth, retention, and underperformance issues.
- Provide senior management with clear analysis of sales activity, commercial trends, risks, opportunities, and priorities.
- Prepare and present quarterly business reviews and updated sales action plans for the portfolio.
- Monitor the effectiveness and return on investment of sales initiatives, promotions, partnerships, trade shows, and travel.
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least five years of relevant sales experience in hospitality or experiential travel, preferably involving boutique, luxury, or multi-property operations.
- Demonstrated ability to develop business, manage key accounts, and achieve sales and revenue targets.
- Established relationships with tour operators, DMCs, travel advisors, and other relevant distribution partners.
- Strong commercial, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience using CRM systems, managing a sales pipeline, and producing accurate sales reports and forecasts.
- Fluent written and spoken Thai and English; other relevant language skills are an advantage.
- Knowledge of the Thai and Cambodian travel markets is preferred.

TERMS & BENEFITS
- Full time (Monday - Friday) role based at our Nonthaburi office. This senior function may require work outside of office hours.

- Annual bonus based on performance.
- Salary THB 48,500 – 62,500 per month (commensurate with experience)
